Invitation to a Joureny: “Be still and know that I am God”
Led by Henry Paasonen, Room 12
Spiritual formation–one of the major movements in church life today–is our lifelong journey led by the Lord as He conforms us to His image, especially for the sake of others and for His glory. We participate in that process even as He works in us “to will and to act according to His good purpose” (Philippians 2:13). Come learn, share, and celebrate together.
The Fourfold Gospel
Led by Gary Fleck, Main
What does it mean to a part of the Christian & Missionary Alliance? What do we believe and why do we believe it? Discover what the Bible reveals about Jesus as savior, sactifer, healer, and coming king.
Starting, Sunday, April 21, 10:45 am
The Gospel of Mark
Led by Jeremy Spainhour, Room 13
Come and together explore how Mark tells us the Gospel in such a way as to show that suffering is not only not evidence against the sovreignty of our Lord’s kingdom but rather that suffering was the precise means by which He established His kingdom, such that our three central concepts of the faith–Christ, Kingdom, and Christian–may very well be turned on their head, just as they were for Mark’s original audience.
Men’s Service Team Breakfast
Saturday, April 20, 8:30 am, Dining Room
