Word for the Year
Every year we have a “Word for the Year” for our church family around which our experience of God in the upcoming year finds focus and relevance. Our word for 2015 is “watch”. What might we see God do if we are watchful and alert to His Presence? I would also encourage you to be thinking about and praying for your own personal word for the year. It’s a great spiritual exercise that helps bring God’s Presence into our every day world. What will your word be? … Pastor Steve

Winter Clothing Drive

The news has been full of the plight of the homeless and less fortunate in our community during this very cold weather. Many of the shelters who provide warm clothing need their resources replenished. To help our community in this midst of this crisis, we are asking you to bring any of the following items to church this Sunday and next, and place them in the collection containers next to the church offices. We will make sure they get to the agencies that are working so diligently to get these items to those people who need them. New and gently used adult and children: gloves, mittens, hats, scarves, coats, boots, blankets and new socks will be collected.
