Men’s Service Team

Saturday, November 5, 9:00-12:00pm

Come enjoy a hearty breakfast, hang out with a bunch of great guys, then use all that energy to serve our partner church, Russell Cave Church of Christ, with some help around their church building. They want to serve us lunch following the morning’s work. If you want to serve, fill out a Connection Card or contact the church office at 223-1394. If you can’t stay for the service project, you are still welcome to partake in the breakfast. Contact Bill Cook at wcook@lexmark.com with questions.

Here, There & Everywhere

Sunday, November 20

This year’s Thanksgiving offering is designated to three areas. Here: To accelerate giving to our mortgage and free up funds to expand the ministry God has given us in this region. There: Giving towards our church plants. Simple Church, NewDay, and Shadowland. Everywhere: Giving to our Great Commission Fund that supports over 800 Alliance international workers, and the Browns.

Online and Mobile Giving

Online giving is back and better than before! See the card in your chair pocket for more information. If you gave a recurring gift through our previous system, contact Lynne Neyland at lynnen@faclex.com to switch over as soon as possible.

Celebration Potluck

Friday, November 18, 6:30pm, Family Life Center

Our church is turning 60! Come celebrate with us as we share a meal together, and then reminisce about how we started, how we’ve grown, and where we are headed. Please bring a dish to share, enough to feed your family plus 4 others. The church will provide chicken. Please RSVP by completing a Connection Card or contacting the church office.

Worship Service

Sunday, November 20

Dr. Maurice Irvin, one of our early pastors will be speaking, as well as guest appearances by two other former pastors! We will have a wonderful morning reflecting on God’s blessings on our church.

Just Two More Sundays!

You only have until November 13 to bring in your Operation Christmas Child boxes! Put them at Guest Services in the Atrium or in any kids Sunday school area. And make sure you LABEL your box. Remember – EVERY box changes a child’s life! Go to operationchristmaschild.com to find out more!

Audit Report: October 20

I have receieved the financial records of First Alliance Church for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2016 in conformity with the recommended guidelines of The Christian and Missionary Alliance. I found no exceptions to the timely and accurate application of the recommended guidelines.
