Wellington Elementary Book Drive

October 11 – October 25, Lower Atrium

Wellington Elementary is in need of new and used books. These books will be packed up and sent to families in need of books and English literacy in their homes. Drop off any used or new books for children birth-5th grade in the labeled container outside the conference room in the lower atrium.

It’s the Most Shoe Box-y Time of the Year

Yes – start filling your shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child! You can find brochures and info at Guest Services or in our kids check-in areas. The last day to bring filled boxes is Sunday, November 15. Make a box; make Christmas great!

Baptism Sunday

Kid’s Baptism Class

Starting Sunday, October 25 at 9:30 am we’ll begin our regular 3-week class for kids interested in baptism. We ask that all children who want to be baptized take the class. If you and/or your child want to learn more about this important part of our walk with Jesus, please join us! Attending class does not obligate you to being baptized.

The Cry for Justice… Global Impact Weekend

Join us as we explore the issues surrounding human trafficking, both local and global. Learn how we can respond as individual Christians and as the Church of Christ. Connect with those who are making a difference and learn how you can get involved.

Mere Discipleship: The Ordinary Calling of Every Christian

Word for the Year

Every year we have a “Word for the Year” for our church family around which our experience of God in the upcoming year finds focus and relevance. Our word for 2015 is “watch”. What might we see God do if we are watchful and alert to His Presence? I would also encourage you to be thinking about and praying for your own personal word for the year.
