Boomers: The Gathering

Nominations

The Nominating Committee welcomes nominations from the congregation for certain leadership positions. Any active member of First Alliance may nominate any other active member by completing a “Nomination Form”, which can be found at Guest Services. Return the completed form to the Church Office by May 22. The annual meeting and elections will be on June 11.

Missions

If you have any interest in full time missions with the Alliance, or came forward to be prayed for last month, please complete a Connection Card indicating interest and drop it in the offering plate or contact the church office.

Women’s Bible Study

 Baby Bottle Blessings

Today, Mother’s Day, marks the distribution of empty baby bottles for this year’s campaign in support of Assurance, a local ministry offering support and sharing Christ’s love, with people facing unplanned pregnancies; or needing post- abortive healing and help. Three easy steps to change lives! 1. Pick up bottle at the Guest Services, 2. Fill it with change, cash or checks to Assurance, 3. Return the bottle on Father’s Day, June 18.  If you have questions, contact Mike & Pam Pepper 223-7495.

Senior Pastor Search Update

As the Leadership Board and Search Committee begin the process of finding a new Senior Pastor, they welcome your input. If you were unable to attend the Town Hall Meeting last Sunday, there are cards available at guest services for you to use to provide your input as we prayerfully begin this journey together.
