Children’s & Nursery Ministry Volunteers Needed
As we’re working to get ready for fall programming in Kids Ministries, we’re facing critical needs! Step Up Sunday is a month away, yet many classes do not have teachers. Classes that still need teachers and/or assistants include: 3’s and 4’s (1st service); 2’s, 3’s, K’s, 1st grade boys, 2nd grade boys, 3rd grade girls, KES project team (2nd service). Donate Your Egg Cartons
Mark Tananka donates eggs to people who have financial hardships, but he has run out of egg cartons. Save your egg cartons and leave them in the box under the stairs in the lower atrium near the elevator and help him help others!
Simple Church Annual Conference

KY Refugee Ministries Needs Donations
Kentucky Refugee Ministries is in need of household supplies and furniture. They are anticipating the arrival of 42 people in the month of July. Some of these are large families. Visit www.faclex.com for more information or www.kyrm.org for ways to donate. Drop off items at 1206 North Limestone at Arlington Christian Church. KRM will pick up large items. To schedule a pickup call 226-5661.
Intercession: Uniting in Corporate Prayer

Word for the Year
Every year we have a “Word for the Year” for our church family around which our experience of God in the upcoming year finds focus and relevance. Our word for 2015 is “watch”. What might we see God do if we are watchful and alert to His Presence? I would also encourage you to be thinking about and praying for your own personal word for the year. It’s a great spiritual exercise that helps bring God’s Presence into our every day world. What will your word be? … Pastor Steve
