Missions Festival: Plant Local, Plant Global

Thursday, August 17 – Sunday, August 20

Our 2017 Fall Missions Festival will explore and celebrate the unique ways that God is planting His church locally, regionally, and globally. This weekend will provide many opportunities where you can hear from our church plants how God is working in their ministry.

Garden Table

Starting next Sunday a table will be set up in the Atrium for all you gardeners who have a bounty of veggies and fruits that you would like to share.

Urgent Preschool Needs!

In Ephesians 4 we’re told that Christ gave pastors and teachers to equip his people for service, so that the body may be built up, be united, be mature, and have his fullness. If you see children as part of His Body, then we need you to join us in building them up. We are still praying and searching for caregivers, teachers, and assistants to serve one Sunday each month for our fall programs. Fill out a Connection Card, email, or talk to anyone in our children’s areas for more info.

Celebrate Sue Cook

To honor our Pastor of Congregational Life, who retired recently, you are invited to highlight a verse for Sue in the Bible on the table in the Atrium. Feel free to insert an index card to indicate the verse you chose.

Senior Pastor Search Update

The senior pastor job opening is posted on the Alliance website. We hope to begin receiving applications soon. The Search Committee appreciates and welcomes your comments and prayer throughout this process and looks forward with anticipation to God’s continued leading.

Joseph Book: About a Family

Pastor Steve’s book, Joseph, A Story About a Family, is available to purchase at Guest Services for $10.

Hearing Devices

There are hearing devices available in the back of the sanctuary by the sound booth. See an usher for assistance.
