New Adult Education Class

The Mission of God: Personal Faith, Public Witness

Begins August 21

An 8-week class on the holistic Christian Life: from the personal dimensions of Christian faith to the public spheres of Christian witness. This class will be taught by Dr. Gregg Okesson and Dr. Craig Kiesling, both regular attendees at FAC and professors at Asbury Theological Seminary in the areas of Christian missions and Christian formation, respectively.  This will be a great class for developing a solid foundation for living into the fullness of the Spirit-filled life for the glory of God.

Boomers & Beyond Lunch Bunch

Child Dedication

Three reasons to dedicate your child: To present your child back to the Lord, entrusting Him to guide and protect them; to dedication yourself to raising your child in a home that is filled with God’s love and guided by Biblical principles; and to allow the family of believers to dedicate themselves to love, teach, encourage, and pray as God gives them opportunity.  To have your child dedicated fill our a Connection Card or contact the Church office at 223-1394.

Middle School Ministry

We are in need of 3 men to mentor and lead young boys as a small group leader.  The need is becoming urgent as we start August 14.  Contact Tanner Fouts if you are interested.

Garden Table

The garden table is up!  all of you gardeners that have extra veggies or fruit that you want to share with others, just bring them and put them on the garden table in the Atrium.

High School Fundraiser

The High School  Ministry is selling discount cards this year to bring down the cost of retreats.  The cards are $20 and we receive 50% of that as profit!  If you are interested please contact Dan McPherson at

FACyo Parents’ Meeting

We will have our annual Sr. High “Year In Preview”.  This is the Most Important meeting of the year to stay in the know for 2016-17!  The main course will be provided, please bring a side or dessert to share.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Serve Through a Meal

The High School  Ministry is looking for people to provided meals this fall on Wednesday night at 6:30 pm for 35-40 people.  This is a great time of building relationships as we share a meal together.  If you are interested, please contact Dan McPherson at

Back To School

One of our local schools, Booker T. Washington Academy, is in need of our help with classroom supplies.  Items needed are Kleenex, dry erase markers, index cards, sandwich and gallon baggies, pencils and Clorox wipes.  Items can be dropped off August 14th and 21th in the container under the big stairs in the Lower Atrium near the elevator and church office.
