Everyone safe and sound in Turkey

Well, everyone arrived safely and sound in Turkey this afternoon.  Anita and I were privileged to accompany THomas to the airport to meet the tour group on their arrival, but the bus to take them back to the hotel only accommodated 10 people so Anita and I returned to the hotel by the public transit we had taken to the airport.

Everyone appears road weary, as is the case when your body says it’s 8:00 a.m., but the clock says it’s 3:00 p.m., you’ve only had a couple of hours sleep in the “night” on the jet, and your circadian rhythm is completely out of whack!  But God is good and no one’s luggage was lost or even delayed in spite of the delay of leaving Newark.

So we’ll meet in the hotel lobby at 6:00 p.m after everyone has washed up and refreshed.  Then we’ll do a little walking in the area and catch supper before heading for bed about 9:00p.m.  (subtract seven hours for local EDT in Lex).

It was so good to see everyone from home.  We greeted them with some Turkish Delights when we met at the airport.

More later,
keep us in your prayers,
