Route 56 (Fifth and Sixth grades) PDF Print E-mail

Our 5th and 6th grade class is on the road to good character! Building on the foundational character of love, we have a two-year curriculum for studying Godly character qualities and have the opportunity to apply what we are learning—in class and throughout the week.

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Continuing on the journey for good character, at a faster pace, I-78 is our program for 7th and 8th graders. This class builds on the character qualities of Route 56, and will be focusing on topical studies in Sunday School. Also, the fall retreat, serving, and team building events during VBS week are some of the highlights of the year.
"Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith?" (Hebrews 12:1)

In our youth ministry, we desire to honor God by providing a place of discipleship for everyone, by demonstrating and encouraging teens to be hungry for God's Word and Truth, teachable in spirit, and available for "life-to-life" relationships.

We work to help the teenagers of our church discover Christ and equip them to be a light in the darkness. With the leadership of an outstanding team of adult workers and students, we hope to carry out God's commission to "make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things," that Jesus commanded (Matthew 22:19-20). We want to see teenagers develop into strong and mature men and women of God as they learn to obery the Lord's commands and eventually learn to go and make disciples out of all people.
