The Alpha Course is an introduction to the Christian life that takes place over ten evenings together. It consists of a series of talks looking at basic topics like "Who is Jesus?" and "How can we be forgiven?" and "What makes life really meaningful?"
Alpha is something like a supper club; a weekly time to get together with old and new friends for a good home-cooked dinner followed by a talk focused in the intersection of Christianity and real life. That leads into some rich, open-ended conversation around the table. It sounds very simple, but many people--from inside the church and from all over our community--have made discoveries and friendships of a lifetime through Alpha.
Come and check it out and bring a friend. You're under no obligation. If you enjoy it, keep coming back. Another course will be offered in the Fall. Keeping checking back for details!
