Cyber bullying is an innovation in forcing ‘street crossings’ that has become a huge cultural issue.
It seems civility has no place in cyber space.
Somehow, coming face to face with the worst of your past can readily steal all the progress you’ve made in life’s journey.
Rulers always assume that they are the one’s who control power and they are shocked when power gets displayed that they have not authorized.
Authoritarian rulers always hope to find some way to control and limit people’s access to information.
Peter spoke not out of a manufactured forcefulness but spoke out of who he had become in Christ.
“One’s dignity may be assaulted, vandalized and cruelly mocked, but it can never be taken away unless you surrender it.” – Michael J. Fox
Peter’s boldness is rooted in the conviction that the Word of God is really true and God is truly real.
You cannot keep a person quiet…
- … who has had a genuine experience of God.
- …who has a deep conviction about the word of God.
- …who is both full of God and filled with God.
“When they bring you to the synagogues and the magistrates and the authorities, do not worry about how or what you will answer or what you will say. For the HS will teach you in the same hour what you ought to say.” – Luke 12:11-12
“Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one’s definition of your life; define yourself.” – Robert Frost
You let Jesus define who you are. In trust and surrender to Him you let him empower you for all that life confronts us with.
